So I'm looking to get 2 more redfoots to add to my other one so I will have a total of 3, I'm just wondering how big of a tank I would need to house these? They have to be indoor as I am from Toronto and we get that white stuff and coldness around here so outdoor is no option would a 80 gallon ( very wide and long) or something bigger than that ?

Bigger is usually better. How big can you go?

I can go as big as a tank will get that is made from glass, and that has proper width and length for when they are bigger so they can spin 360degrees if they need to maneuver around. I also need it to hold humidity and I already have a trouble maintaining that so I never really like the option of an open tortoise table. Any suggestions on an enclosure that is suitable for redfoots?

Wow thanks alot that is really helpful I pretty much have the whole basement to myself mon doesn't really care what I do and that is an option! With the humidity it won't rot the wood at all or make it split over time?

Hmm, I agree....if you're able to, it would be nice to do your own custom build...and you could still make it closed chambers to help keep your humidity in. As always, the bigger the better when it comes to tortoise enclosures.

Here are a few examples I like:

But if you aren't into custom building, there are a lot of great closed chambers in glass as well...if you search in the Enclosure section, you'll find a lot of awesome ideas!
