Hello all....I have 3 young red foot torts (really want to say red-feet :p )
and have a question. one if form a different breeder then the other two and at around 2 years old is showing a deffinate hourglass shape. the other two dont! is this an indication of gender this young?

I will try to get pictures tomorrow to show you what I mean.

Most likely. Males get the hourglass shape (although older females can too.)

How big are they?

At 4in long the hourglass shape is not a definite way to determine gender. The hourglass shape is a predominantly masculine trait however I have a few females with a slight hourglass shape so it could be misleading. The anal notches and tail is a better way to more accurately determine gender, yours arent quite old enough to tell for sure.
