She seems kinda bored about the whole thing. :D Certainly is the season, I just wish they would do it quietly. :rolleyes:

Such an exertion for the males...no wonder they are smaller and skinnier than females.

They're positively mute when you have redfoots clucking and Forstens banging shells. :D

I still can hear them over the redfoots. :D No Forstens banging shells, but the one male Russian is doing a good job. It's not so much the volume that gets me, but the fact it's just kinda right on the edge of hearing, so I instinctively tune it in. Does that make sense?

Look forward to hearing some "eggsciting" news from you in a few weeks. :cool:

Still not quite in the same league as the box turtles who sit there calmly eating or the ones who just walk off dragging the male along. :D

Hmm... my males are always really quiet while breeding. My dominant male will only make noise when he's bothering my other male. But my girls always look as bored as yours.
