Hi.
My name is Lola and I am so happy to have found tortoise forum.
I have been reading the posts for a while but thought I would join.
In a couple of weeks I will be getting a hatchling marginated tortoise.
I have tons of questions but thought I would introduce myself
First.I haven't ordered the cage yet but I am planning
On either getting a wooden tort table or buying a big
Plastic shallow box. I am yet to
Find a name and wondered if
Any of you could help.
Thank you.

Hi Lola I have two marginated they are so lovely, I have a table top for them during the night but by day they have a massive enclosure in my back garden, they love it, they have so much room they don't know what to do with it, but they are so safe from predictors it will last them a life time, you will really enjoy your new baby hen he or she come xx

Thank you everyone.I have one question. What enclosure Should I get. I
Have been searching for massive shallow plastic boxes and can't find any. The
Wood tort tables are to much for what their worth and I can't make anything as
1. We don't have any wood shops within miles from were we live and
2. I'm terrible at making things.
Thanks.

If you have the room , Walmart has a kids swimming pool that can work for an enclosure. You can't cover it easily but for some applications they work fine. About $15
