Hi I'm a 5th grade teacher. We have 2 Russian Tortoises that were donated to my class in September. This is the first time I have had tortoises. We are having fun researching them.

Hello, Mande, and a very warm welcome to Tortoise Forum.
Russians are a very scrappy species, so if you don't have the pair in separate enclosures already, you may soon have to arrange this.
Watch out for signs of bullying, which are sometimes very subtle.
