Hi, and welcome! Pedro is a beauty. Where did you get him? (I always like to know who's raising them right)

At a pet shop in a garden centre called Garstons. They have a very good but small shop.

Yes Fareham is a town in between Portsmouth and Southampton. Pedro seems pretty happy, I was just looking for some pointers really.
Hello and welcome. Start here for some general tortoise info:

Some tips: RFs don't need a basking lamp. They need a warm over all temp between 27-30C all day and night every day. This is best accomplished with a thermostat set to ceramic heating elements or radiant heat panels. They need a large closed chamber, aka: viv, with the heating and lighting inside. This allows you to easily maintain the correct humidity and warmth. They need substrate that remains relatively dry on the surface where they have contact with it, but damp in the lower layers for humidity. Fine grade orchid bark works best for this. Finally, don't use moss, but do use lots of potted plants of the right types for shade and security. You can hang the plants or set the pots on the ground.

ZEROPILOT keeps redfoots, the info Tom gave you should have your answers. If not come back with your questions.
