New to the site and tortoises in general. We have a little Russian Tortoise named Stoick. We live in the UK.

Still trying to find out all the things he can eat to vary his diet, advice more than welcome.

Also I've been told as he is under a year that i shouldn't let him hibernate, is this right and is there anywhere I can find hibernation (for dummies) instructions for when he can??

Welcome! Here is a good site to I.d things he can eat. If you just got him, I also would not hibernate this year. Keepp his enclosure bright and warm and it will not hurt him at all

Hello and welcome to the TFO from AZ, USA . Don't be in a rush a tort don't need hibernation . Hibernation is for the winter . When food is hard to find , when a tort has a person to care for it food is never short . And don't forget Russians Rule !
