I'm babysitting two tortoises for an Italian lady who is going on vacation for 10 days. She has a female that she was told was a Graeca and a male that she was told is a desert tortoise. Because the female has a spur on the tip of her tail, I THINK she's a Hermanni. The male is probably a Graeca, but I don't know:

and the male (no tail spur):

First one I believe is a hermanns tortoise, great looking one at that. The 2nd one does look like a Greek tortoise, very dark. They both look great

Oh does the hermanns have spurs? On both sides of the tale?

If she forgets to pick them up, dibs on that beautiful female Western! :). I showed my male a photo of her and he is interested!

There's no worry about her forgetting. She is an older Italian lady and she is very much in love with her Hermann's tortoise! When she came to pick it up she was giving it kisses all over it's shell. Telling it how much she missed it, etc. It was a little sickening to watch.
