I got my 1yo Hermann's on the 7th and he still has no name! Around the house, he is referred to as 'the tortoise'. I have discovered that I am extremely picky with names lol. Does anyone have any recommendations? I will attach some pictures :)

You need time to get used to each other, and the name will come suddenly to you. Our little Hermanns was known as Bobby Vee by the pet shop owner, because of some damage to his shell - but that didn't feel right, and one day as I was holding him it came to me that his name was Zola - almost as though he had sent it into my mind. It turned out very well - there was a footballer we liked called Zola, - a famous writer - Emil Zola -a famous female runner called Zola Budd (in case he was female) and it also means quietness in the Swahili language -so the name could suit him in many different ways !
I hope you find the right name soon for yours.

Thanks, that is such a cute story! I hope that something like that happens to me! Until it does, I am fine just calling him the tortoise. :)
