Help with my redfoot,

So i bought some panels for an outdoor enclosure,temporary,mobile i am 13 so i dont own my own garden and have rights to build anything atm.....
I bought theses panels bacause at the bottm i is opaque and black but further up the cage it is bars and my redfoot is always climbing up and getting his legs wedged....and in his home he has a bared lid thing.....he pops his head in and out but he can get out of that please help im worried!

before you all say 'A barred lid wont keep humidity in for a redfoot...' i have a plastic cover over 3/4's of his home!

Consider attaching a smaller (1cm) mesh to the inside of the barred areas of the panels you have to prevent his legs from protruding and getting stuck. The mesh to which I refer is called hardware cloth in the USA.

You might also attach thin plywood, plastic sheeting or some other material that would keep his legs from between the bars.
