Help. Sign of shell rot?

Don't know what it looks like so I'm curious with the picture it's all over his shell? Just got him and don't k ow how owner was treating her please confirm if this is shell rot or not, I might just be paranoid!!

Those might be healed scars of some sort or even water spots/stains.
Keep an eye on it and make sure it looks the same and don't worry.

They look like the little white swirls/circles that many of us see in growing carapaces. Not sure what causes them - there are several speculations. Search white circles or squiggles on the forum and you'll see many examples. They're harmless and normal.
