Help: Scale Shedding ??

Looks unhealthy to me and also her beak is waaaaay too long u need to get it trimmed

Oh my. . . this poor tortoise really has an overgrown beak. And the scale on the side of her head looks like she may have caught it on something and ripped it away from the flesh. Normal first aid - what you would ordinarily do for your own body if you had a skinned knee - is ok. But get that beak trimmed. I'll bet it's hard for her to eat.

Your tortoise needs some care. He does not look healthy. Please post pictures of his enclosure, lights, temps. Are you soaking him? What kind of substrate are you using?
