I can see the growth and her eyes are far from normal! She doesn’t look well at all I’m so sorry😣

Would you mind trying to answer these questions? Just do your best if you don’t know all of them, but it’ll really help members advising you!

Do you know her rough age or was she bought from a chain store?
What are your temperatures like? Ie basking temp(directly under the bulb), overall day temps, night temps?
What kind of basking bulb is being used specifically? Packaging photos are good if you have any
Do you use indoor uv? If so, what type?
How’s humidity reading? Is it a closed chamber?
What kind of monitoring do you have?
What is the substrate?
How’s diet?

A photo of the full enclosure would be great!🐢💚

Refer back here for now

One of the mods will probably move the replies for you so it’s in one thread once they see them to make it easier for you🙂

Bless you! You’ve created a really nice home for her❤️
Only thing of note I’d probably say is as babies they do need much higher humidity, the only way to achieve this is a closed chamber set up, this helps aid in smoother growth, though I can’t say it’s what’s caused the potential abscess or her eyes to look like that.
Does the reading directly under the basking bulb get to around 95f? 32c is just a little low for a basking temperature but perhaps you mean that’s nearer the warmer end. How’s the cooler side during the day? Night temps?

What kind of basking bulb is it you use?

she’s clearly a much love little one, hopefully that bump isn’t anything of major concern, let me tag these guys to get a look @wellington @Yvonne G and hopefully we can all help get to the bottom of her eye problem

In the meantime you might find this thread useful to look over as it cover a ‘greenhouse’ kind of set up, which could work for your current one and hopefully help get your humidity up, when going with a greenhouse style, the lower the ceiling height, whilst not having the cover touch the fixtures, the better!

This one includes some more closed chamber options, again maybe some of the topper ideas in there could work for you🙂

Once she’s a bit older, the humidity you have now will be absolutely fine!🐢💚let’s see what they folks I’ve tagged think

Okay I'm going to hunt down a bet ASAP
Just be very cautious when finding a vet for tortoises, for something like this they should hopefully be able to help, but be very wary when listening to their care information because a lot of them are following outdated stuff, don’t let them give vitamin injections off the bat(something many of them do), any injections they’re wanting to give they should be wanting to do a bit of further investigation first.
Again though if this isn’t anything of major concern, they should hopefully be able to help and give good advise keeping it clean and caring for her as it heals🙂

If you get her booked in, we would love to hear how it goes and what treatments they offer her!🐢❤️

I’ve had a look back at your previous threads, with this one;

How did that heal? Were you sure it was definitely from the dog?

Also, is this tortoise from your first thread the same tortoise in question?

I ask because that shedding of the skin in that photo is not normal either, that coupled with that weird bump, now this one and her eyes, I’m curious what @Yvonne G @wellington @Tom think? I don’t want to jump to conclusions

She is shedding a lot and I was told it was her just grown up? This piece was glued on as it came off when our dog got her 😔 do you think she has metabolic bone disease ? 🥺

I had two Greek Spur-thighed Tortoises called Jacky and Daisy. Jacky is now 89 and Daisy was 80 years old when she was put to sleep in 2022. Mum and nana had bought Jacky in 1950 and Daisy in 1951. They knew that Daisy was female but they assumed that Jacky was male because she was slightly smaller. Anyway they wondered why there weren't any little ones until forty years later when a vet announced that Jacky was Jacqueline 🤣!

She needs to see a good tortoise experienced hopefully, reptile vet and have blood work done, if nothing else.
She's in ruff shape. She may also have MBD.
Keep her at 80F day and night.
Soak her in warm water, do not let her get cold, for 30 minutes with piedialyte and baby food carrots in the soak water. Do this daily until you can get her to a vet.

You poor thing! Don’t worry I’m sure they’ll help!❤️
With the basking light it’s usually best finding the right watt and height to created the desired temperature directly underneath, running tests to make sure, its acting as the sun, so ideally needs to not be dimming/going on&off, the ceramic however is different of course.
Is it a floodlight? I only ask because sometimes even bulbs that are aimed to be sold for tortoises can cause eye damage.

Also just thought worth mentioning because you can show the vet! If you look on your top pinned video on tiktok titled ‘I’m a munchasorus’ I’m sure I can see it!

They do shed slightly but definitely not like that unfortunately, it almost looks like her skin is sloughing in that photo, it might be worth showing the vet that too

I haven’t seen anyone have a vet glue a piece back on, I believe usually it’s to be kept clean and heal over

I think the problem is the UVB light is not close enough (and maybe the tortoise needs more calcium to go with the UVB?) I don't think that's a growth, I think the beak is growing wrong from lack of UVB/calcium. The enclosure is very eye pleasing, but "eye pleasing" isn't what is needed for the tortoise. He requires the proper living conditions. . . heat, humidity, UVB, diet, etc.
