No, it's a mud turtle. Mud turtles are Cryptodira which draw necks completely draw neck into shell while West African mud turtles are Pleurodira which draw neck to side of shell. Most Southern Hemisphere water turtles are Pleurodira (sideneck) while Northern Hemisphere water turtles are Cryptodira (as are all tortoises).tortoises101 said:Pelusios castaneus, west African mud turtle.
