Hi all!
I've got 2 little torties! A 2 year old Sulcata, Mr. Turtle, that was given to me by a neighbor who was moving and didn't want to take him and a 4 month old Russian named Vygo (short for Lev Vygotsky). I have had several Sulcatas over the years but I am new to the Russians and I am definitely paranoid about keeping the little guy healthy. I also have 2 cats and 4 dogs and I am planning on getting a horse after graduating from college. What can I say? I love animals!

OHHH Yes. I just took a picture of them the day I got the Russian to show family and friends the size difference.

I'm curious what happened to your previous sulcatas?

I had a pair growing up. Once they outgrew their tanks we kept them in the backyard until we moved. Couldn't take them with us so one went stayed with a neighbor and my grandparents have the other one The one my grandparents have is almost 10 now! Not sure what ever happened to the other guy.

Unfortunately, when I was 16 I got a hatchling from a vendor on the side of the road, bad idea I know, and he passed only after having him for 6 months. Here in AZ there is an overabundance of Sully breeders.
