Hello Turtlelers,

We got a baby Reeves turtle (Boba Fett) a month ago, and I'm trying to do my best to give him what he needs.

I have no idea what I'm doing, the people I know that can talk to about turtle care are limited, so here I am.

He is happy, swimming, basking, eating, begging (a lot).

I'm a bit worried and was wondering about your invaluable input. I looked at fungal infections, but it does not seem like one.

I keep the water clean, for now, I change 25% daily until the water is stable (read up it could take up to 2 months), but I feel the filters are not enough...

I'm unable to open your pictures. It says I need an account with them. Could it be that the thin upper layer of keratin is peeling off? If so, that's a normal part of growing.

Probably so, he is growing strong, 5 grams for 2 weeks... (I think I'm overfeeding him).

As I say him, I think it's a male, according to the tail...

Looks like growth. Turtles she'd their scutes as they grow.
