Nice pic. I've just discovered grapevines. Planted my first two on Friday. I've been raiding my buddies vines. All the internet stuff on grapes say they need a hot summer. Oh boy are mine gonna be happy. There is a small vineyard just down the road from me. I've got to go get some tips from them.

Hey Tom...it was 101 today...with a breeze...only felt like 91:)...I'm gonna try the grazing seed mix from Carolina Pet Supply for the new planter enclosure...heard a lot of good things about them...and a new grape vine started sprouting...I've already got a couple...but this one is sprouting out of the planter.

Great photo of Urtle(?)!

Tom, I hope your neighbor knows you're nicking his grape leaves, so he doesn't sic a guard dog on you (especially one you may have trained).

That friend doesn't have guard dogs. His grape vines shade his alligator pen.

My husband suffers climate shock whenever he returns to Miami from Colorado...says he has to put on his shorts and sandals before even leaving the airport...sorry about your beaches, Chris, hopefully they won't get too bad and will get better rather than worse over the next year. Hope it doesn't affect Florida tourism too much.

So, Tom...are those trained alligators? ;)
