Hi there,
I'm new to the forum but have had turtles and torts for around 23 years now. I have 3 Russians, 6 three toed boxies (one is a baby I hatched in Oct) and 1 Western Ornate box. I got most of them as rescues. I live in Boise Idaho but only for the last few years.
Anyway can't wait to look through the forum. There's always new stuff to see and learn :)[/size]

Hello and welcome.

I'm particularly interested in Western box turtles. May I request a thread with pics?

I'd love to see your russians and others too.

Thanks! Yes old timer but that means lots of errors along the way 😱seems things change constantly in the reptile world on what's right and what's not. Always more to learn! I haven't had my Western long. I actually had 3 wild caught and it has been rough with them. I lost two this year 😢 they just couldn't handle the stress of being captive. This was their second winter with me, I had managed to get them through the first, barely. I have them outside all summer so they do great then inside during winter. My last one has finally adjusted quite well so hoping I'm out of the woods with her.
I also have some water turtles I took in as rescues and one that was a gift ☺.
