I've been living the turtle life for 36 years so far. Dr. Johnson, my old gulfie, is around 70 by now. The others, Mrs. Thrale, Queenie & Madame D'Arbley are much younger. The RTs, Uncle Vanya, Aunt Maude, Olga & Anya, are doing their best to be a breeding colony & one day I'll get it right. One egg still in the incubator. Zenobia the hermann's is a delight. The ambo Bertie is named after Bertrand Russel, for his undershot chin, although he is a bright & peresonable fellow. The musk doesn't really have a name because he was a rescue I did not intend to keep. Most of the crew was rescued one way or another. Many habitats & not much garden space left. So hello.
