So I've been curious for quite a while about why my two tortoises, round about the same size, have such different size heads! Lol.:D It's funny but one has a head that seems huge, it's more of an oblong shaped shell. The rounder one has a little head. They're the same age and it's just kinda funny to see. I didn't know if it had anything to do with sexing. I would've guessed 3 years would be a little early to tell the sex.

I don't know, but it would be nice to see a pic of them side by side. Does either one have a concaved plastron? How about tail length, is one a lot longer then the others. My leopard and many others on here flashed it's male parts shortly after turning 2

The oblonged one with the bigger head has a thicker tail. I'll take pictures once I get home

Leopard males tend to have more oblong shapes compared to females. I find males tend to have longer necks compared to females but I personally haven't seen a difference in head size specifically

I think the right one looks very very female. Although the other has a very different look I wouldn't conclude it's a male, but I'm leaning toward that.

I would recommend raising them in a hot more humid environment to prevent further pyramiding . Beautiful coloring though. You might just luck out and get a pair
