havent lost it's egg toth yet

hello i have a 2 week old leopard tortoise she eats allot of clover and dandie weeds she has a 24 inch uvb 25 watt light bulb a small five gallon heather on the side next to her hide long and a 20 gallon heater on the bottom of the tank and when i got her she still had a little spot of her yoke sack on the bottom of her it now has completely absorbed but oddly she still has not lost her egg tooth is this a big issue or will it take a little bit longer for her to lose it please help :tort:

Hello and welcome to the forum...

Some tortoises can take several weeks or even months to lose the egg tooth, so two weeks is not a issue...

I have a 4 month old with an egg tooth. As long as they are eating, active, and their husbandry needs are met, I wouldn't worry.

Welcome and I agree with Neal. Some of them simply take longer than others and as long as he or she is eating fine I would not be concerned.
