We just got the call from the vet. Harriet (Harry) will be fine. She sedated her(him) and managed to get the stone out WITHOUT surgery!!
WOOOHOOO! All the mineral oil and soaking really helped too.
Thanks everyone for all the advice and thanks to Dr. Brietweiser (All Things Wild). Gotta go dance around the yard now...

she sedated him and basically used her finger to push it around until it was loose. apparently it was imbedded in the ceceumSP? wall. she was just getting ready to quit and start cutting the shell open when POP it came loose. We are so lucky. It was HUGE:tort:

Awesome News,
How Did Your Tort Get A Stone?

We adopted him from some people that were dumping him on craig's list. They were feeding him dog food and god knows what else. It took us 2 weeks to get him to even try anything green. Can you imagine a sulcata that wont eat?? anyway too much protein, no fiber exc =giant stone. He also has bone density issues and pyramiding. It's all gravy now:) the worst is over!
