I went checking out outbuildings for a couple of old hanging fixtures that I could refurbish. I guess this one's out.

This is a barn swallow nest, one of my favorites around here.

Nah, It's loose and a dud. I had peacocks in that bldg years ago, and they're rough on ceiling lights.

Barn Swallow nests are protected here. I like and dislike that...sometimes they build their nests in front of building openings and swoop if they have hatchlings... That's part I don't like...

Yeah but, the young fly after only a couple of weeks, and then eat bugs the rest of their lives.

They look like black spots with a beak...nice pic of them both..
