In case you haven't kept one before...be careful as they are escape artists and spend all waking hours testing the walls of the prison cage.
It's also good to have a common color because they don't live long and it's hard to run out and find a replacement before the kids find out that "fluffy" is dead.

Thats funny, I've never seen one this colour before. We had one as a pet before, and it ate his way through the plastic bottom of the cage.

Thats funny, I've never seen one this colour before. We had one as a pet before, and it ate his way through the plastic bottom of the cage.
I had one escape and lived in our couch for a month before we noticed stuffing on the floor. He was just fine. Maybe a little thin...

Also be careful this those tubes. Ours died inside one. Looked like he got stuck before he could get out of it. Not really sure, just was our guess. Maybe if they look to fat for it, they are. Just a caution, but I do love watching them in them.
