Sunny days here are far and few between right now, but when it has been nice I have been taking my Sulcata (and my other 2) outside for short periods of time... My Sulcata has been trying to eat the quack grass that grows in my yard, so far I've been able to deter him from actually digesting it, but I was wondering if it would be ok for him to eat? It's the only thing that's green right now in my yard, (That's Idaho for ya (; ) and I think that's why he's so drawn to it.
Thanks in advanced!
-Kate.

Grass is one of the best foods to feed your tortoise. Let him eat.

Be grateful that he wants to eat it. Let him go to town on it.
