The youngest of my two baby Greeks seems to like grazing more then eating the mixed greens I put in their enclosure every morning for them to eat. The only issues are they are kept indoors and the field we spend an hour at everyday only has dandelions.
So I've decided to buy a rectangular pot and plant seeds so they have something & somewhere better to graze.

My question is what kinds of seeds should I buy? I've only had one tort for a little over a month and the other for not even a week so I'm still new to all of this.

Thanks!
Sarah

Hi Sarah:

Carolinapetsupply.com has a nice assortment of seeds for your type tortoise called Mediterranean tortoise seed mix. If you buy someplace else, you want to buy more of the broad-leaf plants, not grasses.

I didn't see the Mediterranean tortoise seed mix, sense you said broad-leaf would the Broad-leaf seed mix be okay? It has no grasses.
