Got a new tortoise and I believe its a Greek tortoise but I kinda wanna know what sub species it is. And if someone could tell me its shell condition that'd be helpful its got a little like pit in it and its slightly soft because (I believe) the previous owner read that supplements are bad so for the past 3 months its been off of calcium. They also had him/her on bare coconut fiber. The previous owner said its age is about 6 months. And ignore the white powder someone likes to sit on the top of their food/ ram into the center of it.photo 3 - Copy.JPG photo 2 - Copy.JPG photo 1 - Copy.JPG

It's a T. g. ibera and looks to be of southern variety and the shell looks completely normal. As far as being soft, it should not by any means be mushy but it should be slightly pliable for the first year or more.

Thanks for the help and to be clear I shouldn't worry about the hole like things on the plastron?
