I couldn't help but repost this. I thought it was funny but sad at the same time. 'He' is being given bread and feeder fish. 'He' is also expected to live over 100 years.

It was actually not a tortoise at all. It was a red-eared slider. The owner claimed it was male, but also stated it was 12 inches. It had to be a she. The shell did look nice though, and at least from the pic, it appeared to be getting real sunlight. Too bad it got flagged, that poor turtle needs to be rescued.
