I've been buying wheatgrass for my sulcata because I don't have a source of natural grass and weeds that hasn't been treated with chemicals. I finally got a wheatgrass kit, and attempted to grow some, but I'm not good at it yet, so I'm dealing with lots of mold. One of the remedies to kill mold on growing wheatgrass is to spray it with diluted grapefruit seed extract. I'm concerned that even after rinsing the grass residual grapefruit seed extract may be harmful to my sulcata. Got any advice?
On a side note, growing wheatgrass was a fun and rewarding venture. What else can I grow like that in small trays indoors to feed a Sulcata?
