I saw the list of herp vets, which is great, but I was wondering if anyone in the S.F. Bay Area has one that they really like and would recommend?

Really? No one can recommend a vet in the bay area? I have a rescue who is in such bad shape, I really want to make sure to take him to an experienced herp vet. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Maybe go on yelp and try to find one through the ratings over there? I'd be interested too, as I'm in the Bay area as well
Can you look and see if any of them have reviews? Maybe?
I go to VCA All About Pets Animal Hospital in Union City, and have had a better experience there than with other so called "herp vets" - for example, the VCA vet fortunately didn't try to suggest feeding live bugs. They seem to have a decent amount of knowledge and some background with sulcatas.
I don't recall the name of my vet, but he's an older man. Looking at their website, they only have two vets listed, and he's not either of them, so perhaps he has retired (it's been a little over a year since I've been).
