Glue

I'm going to combine two 40 gallon totes for my red foot babies while they are indoor. What sort of glue will be ideal?

I was thinking silicone or some sort of acryllic glue. I want non-toxic but something that will be able to hold up to the substrate and misting and overall care for the tortoises.

Silicone Would Work Nice, Just Make Sure You Air It Out and Let it Sit For A Couple Of Days
So They Dont Breath In The Chemicals Etc.

Look into the plastic welding system it will give you a permanent weld joint. Len

Would hot glue be able to work with the heat, substrate, etc?

I like the idea of a plastic welding system, but have no clue where to find one.


I just bought a plastic welder. I hope it will do. From what I was told at work, it's just a super high power hot glue gun, and super low power welder.
