Hi I have got a Russian tortoise Raffi and he is 5years old. I want to put him in the garden but unsure about what temperature would be safe for him. Any advice would be appreciated.

They pretty cold hardy, but if you keep him indoors predominantly I'd say 55degrees F and up

Mine spends most of his time indoors, and I only keep him out in temperatures of 60 F and upwards. Any lower than that, I have noticed my Russian tortoise will spend almost all of his time in a hide or buried underground so I don't see the benefit of keeping him out in temperatures colder than that.
