Dear Members of Tortoise Forum...
First of all, I bow down to everyone with respect.
I'm Sam from India. Great Tortoise lover. Unfortunately without a tortoise.
It is illegal to keep a Tortoise in India. I checked out at many pet shops but I got nothing. One of those told me, "Go to Jail, you'll find there.".
I'm really jealous of you all. You all are so lucky.
I have a small humble request to make, please let me know about the availability of Tortoises [Sulcata, Leopard, etc..] in India. Thanks all of you.

I'm sorry you aren't able to find tortoises legally in India, but we will not be able to help you find them illegally either.

Indian Stars are endangered species. Therefore, banned. All reptiles are banned. It is illegal to keep them at home.
