Wow that's almost unreal to me. Wonder what would happen if their tortoise needed a vet? Would they barter with groceries for vet care or even think they need a vet. H
People amaze me in sad sad ways.

I was fairly astounded. Did you read the ad? They know how much care these tortoises take, so they're willing to give a DVD player for them. I.....I just....no words can say how weirded out I am, lol.

I have heard so many scam-like things like this for tortoises, I am getting pretty cynical about it all. Running a fake 'rescue' with one ad, then selling animals as a business with another is pretty common unfortunately.

'Brand new' DVD player, out of the box, with cords that are not factory wrapped and that appears scuffed? R-i-i-i-ight. THIS guy is legit!

I like how he says he won't flip them, because we all know no one ever lies on craigslist.
