Fantastic...pic 2 is my fav...:D

The pancakes are so angry looking, especially the male below in this photo. They have a very aggressive angered look toward their expression. Of course I am referring to humanistic association/behaviorism inference. They really are just fine in their own "tortoise" ways.

LOL. They for sure are such as described, it has been many years since I have had any CDT(even in Texas they do come to here). They do have great personalities, but have wonderful expressions photographically and physical. I remember one big female I had about 8 years ago. She was the most sorrow, sad looking expressionist tortoise. But would great, eat, and defy any feat daily in person. She was great. I relinquished her to the El Paso zoo for wild distribution. Id love to see her one day. I named her strawberry Gene.

Yes she did. Much like the monthly release we do with box turtles here in Texas. I get about 20-60 box turtles every spring to early summer. We test them for mycoplsma, herpes, etc... then release them( soon I will be releasing a group of 3 and 4 toe box turtles). Its a great feeling. If you truly establish a feel for conservation, your feeling of releasing an animal with the possibility of procreating its species in the wild of natural range is much greater than seeing them in captivity each morning waiting for food. To me seeing a tortoise waiting for food , is like seeing any wild animal "give" in to domestication. I strong reason why I try to not interact, or give too small of enclosure, or "unnatural" condition to any tortoise/turtle houses with us,
