Food Variety

I've been browsing this thread to learn about my new Russian. Trying to find foods he can safely eat while I order seeds and get them to grow. I am in a very rural area of NW Oklahoma and will have so much to learn about area plant life for Digger's diet. Would like to know if any or all of the following plants are edible?

Philodendron ivy - jade succulent - Xmas cactus - mushrooms (from the grocery)

P.S. He is really into the crab grass in my yard. This is okay, right?
