Any kind is fine, but be sure there are no chemicals. Most roses get "fed" with pesticidal mixes and sprayed with fungicides. I only use my own established roses that have been in my care for years. I would not use anything from a recent store bought rose bush, or something tended to by gardeners.What kind of roses

My wife is a rose hobbyist, so I get buckets of flowers and leaves from time to time, and I mix that in with all the other tortoise foods. We cut off any spines that are on the stems.
You have "replies" turned off, so I can't answer your message. Grated squash or zucchini is a great way to add some variety and nutrition. If you are growing your own, the leaves and blooms are great tortoise food too.
