OK guys! The big day is tomorrow! Finally getting my horsefield baby! I was just wondering how and what to do to ensure my tortoise settles in nicely and knows it's safe.
I assume I should leave him alone for the first few days and just feed it and water etc.. should I bathe in the first week? I'm not sure when to handle it for the first time etc I don't want to scare it.
Also would having the uv light on from 7am till 9pm be plenty ? The ceramic heat light will be on a thermostat but unsure on the uv. Thanks a lot x
