We are expecting to receive our first Russian Tortoise in a few weeks. :D There is a couple of questions I have. I am trying to find a decent list of safe/unsafe feeding options. As well, How early can you determine the sex of your tortoise.

Thanks,
Shane

Hello and Welcome:) Also, Congrats on your soon to be tort. Check out the tortoisetable.org for edible plant ideas. The sexing of a tort takes a few years. Some, more then others.

You can also check out www.russiantortoise.net they have a good list of foods for your tortoise. Age isn't as important as size in telling the sex of a tortoise, around 4 or 5 inches is best to be able to tell. Congratulations by the way. :D
