First baby turtle

Hello everyone I just got my first turtle and am in need of some help and advice ! He or she is about 2 inches and I had done research on a yellow belly slider and all along thought it was a ybs now I'm confused after reading that cooters and sliders have similar markings and are often confused with one another please help he eats a lot of carnivorous foods but at the same time loves fruits please help and I'm open to advice thanks in advance

Well, the care for them both are similar enough that you should be aok which ever you have....

Maybe post a pic of the turtle up close so the forum can take a peek and offer up their guesses....plus, we love pics...
