Hi guys! :)
Does anyone know if it's okay to use this in an indoor in closure for Russians?

Thank you :)
Do you think it'll be okay for them to eat right away if I purchase it from Home Depot?

It is really best too not use it right away. Clean off as much dirt as possible and repot in tortoise safe dirt. Russians don't really eat grass, so if they don't eat it and you clean the dirt off, you can put it in their enclosure. If you notice that they do want too eat it, I would remove it and let it sit for about three months and let the fertilizer/pesticide free new growth be what you leave, while removing the old growth.

Sod grown in a sod farm will be full of all sorts of chemicals. I would not use that in an enclosure with a tortoise. Plus is has that plastic netting in it. Russians don't need grass, but if you want it anyway, I would grow it in trays and rotate trays in and out as they get trampled and dug up.
