My husband fertilized our grass last month before we had our new baby. How long before I can put our tort out in the grass for sun? Thanks!

Read the package, does it say how long it is active? I would then wait at least a month past that time and I would over water it to really wash it down deep. I think I would also cut the grass and bag it, as that grass would have been grown with fertilazer. This is just my guess and what I would do.

Yes, it would depend on the type of fertilizer used.

Please tell your husband next time use compost tea and he cannt over fertilize and it won't hurt the tort and it will improve the soil Bactria as well and he can make it or buy it
