Eye trouble :/

What is that thing around Frankie's eye? Can somebody help me. Im not sure if its an impaction or just a piece of food (spring mix).. Im just a lil worried..

The eye isn't swollen, but does he keep it shut all the time?

Take a Q-tip dipped in sterile saline solution or some sort of eye wash and gently rub the eye. That little piece of green just looks like a bit of food. It's ok for you to pick it off.

You mean that piece of green food stuck to him? Sometimes when they really dive in---it is stuck all over them....

Impaction usually refers to the digestive track/innards being blocked or backed up by some type of object or obstruction
