extremely deformed sulcata :(

I just showed that to my boyfriend and told him, "This is exactly why I took that tortoise in. So it doesn't end up like this."

I can't even imagine how he became like that...with all the folds and creases in his carapace. It would take a lot more than just a dog food diet. Probably left in a box for most of its life with no access to UVB...injuries...who knows what else.

I wish I had not seen that. The mistreatment that this tortoise has endured is cruel, to say the least. It is beyond anything that I could imagine.

Well I don't think there's a vet bill . He or she didn't spell sulcata right . But the sulcata looks to be deformed from birth or hatching maybe and poor care .
