Yo got me. I thought, omg, extra eyes. Ive seen an extra head, not eyes. Well until today:confused:

Don't worry.
This is a condition called tetraopticitis and effects many tortoises.
It is caused by flowery walls to enclosures.
But it has it's uses, as they can see if a bird of prey is going to get them or if there is a flying jellyfish passing overhead.
As an evolutionary advantage I expect to see even more tortoises like this in the future.
Or not.

Lol, yes, she spots flying jellyfish like she never has before. ;) Maybe I'll start a new breed. :p
