Extra eyes!!!

I just looked in Ginger's cage today and found that her shell had grown eyes!!! Should I be concerned?? What do you think?

Don't worry.
This is a condition called tetraopticitis and effects many tortoises.
It is caused by flowery walls to enclosures.
But it has it's uses, as they can see if a bird of prey is going to get them or if there is a flying jellyfish passing overhead.
As an evolutionary advantage I expect to see even more tortoises like this in the future.
Or not.

I have heard of seeing eye dogs but never a seeing eye tortoise

Lol, yes, she spots flying jellyfish like she never has before. Maybe I'll start a new breed.
