Extension and/or cord/s question

This is a general question, but I'm going to ask...

Is it just me, or is there an issue with inadequate cord length in general?

For example, I spent the extra money to get the Zoo Med power bar/strip because I can plug stuff in on the timer side...or on the non-timer side...and I was hoping to have all the cords safely tucked out of the way - with the least amount of equipment (for safety reasons)

But the cord on the strip is too short - either that or the cord on the dome is too short. Or both. Now I need extension cords to connect everything at the proper length. I don't see why I should need to do this, I don't have a bizzare set up.

Anyone else notice this?

Oh wow! I had never seen that Zoo Med product before. What a great idea.

Sorry about my response...I know it doesn't help your short cord problem.

That's fine! I thought it would a very useful product too!!! :)

I stopped at the hardware store and found some short extension cords. Guess I won't be able to avoid it.

It looks a lot better without cords stretched out too. I find that's an eyesore along with being a safety hazard.
