Does anybody use this for their enclosure? I was thinking it would be great for holding humidity, but maybe not? ImageUploadedByTortForum1378440346.751733.jpg

I personally have and it's not that great, take it from my advice it's a waste of money. Trying to keep humidity in there was too much of a pain. You're better off with a 55 or 75 gallon aquarium with the top covered and heat and lights inside. Not only that it'll be cheaper too.

The one thing I thought was better about this over an aquarium is that it is wider rather then longer. The aquariums never seem to be wide enough. They are always just long. My bearded dragon is in this and it gives plenty of length and width so i thought it would be perfect size wise but i guess not for humidity. I just wish there was something out there that could be something a little more simple. We built an enclosure out of wood for our tortoise but it just isn't holding humidity and we are having to spray it down all day long.

What if I used a humidifier with this?

Well in my limited exp, The ONLY way I have been able to keep my humidity up is with a closed chamber, with lights and CHE in the tank.

Look up 75 gallon Aqueon aquarium it's 48"x18"x20" you'll be able to find it at some places for cheap. A humidifier would require you cutting a hole in the screen top and it would still leak through the air vents.

You could convert a cheap Craigslist tank. I made two closed chambers this way. ImageUploadedByTortForum1378518971.448074.jpgImageUploadedByTortForum1378519008.572718.jpg
