Thanks! So my tortoise lives in A 75 gallon glass tank with a fan and two lights. Do you think the fan will make him to chilly? I put it in there for air surculation, but when ever I turn it on he hides in his shell. This is what the set up looks like:

And one other question: is regular mualch okay for bedding???

And another: are glass walls really a problem? :/

I would not use the fan if it appears to bother him...or use it from time to time and not on all of the time....I know that when a fan is blowing on me it dries my eyeballs up....

If you mean yard mulch, I would not use that...I would suggest finely processed peat moss that you get at lowes...and would have the substrate anywhere from 4 to 6 inches...

If your tort is not clawing and walking into the glass all day, then you should be fine with the glass....some torts never get why they can see ahead but can not get to the ahead....and will stress and continually walk into the glass and such...
