Well one of my girls laid an egg.

She left it on the surface so I assumed it was a dud.

I placed it in a tub with some soil, I planned to throw it out, but I forgot.

I left it alone for almost a month, then my wife found it. Just on a whim I candled it.

The first picture was from 2.5 weeks ago, second one from today.

this is most always the case, but incubate it anyway. I gathered a few Manouria eggs out of the waterer and from on top of the ground and in their shed over a period of a week. Incubated them and last week one of them hatched.

Nice! This just goes to show never to throw out eggs. I have hatched a Redfoot egg and a Russian egg that were Laid on the surface of the enclosure.
