Silly questions, but I would like to know....
If in the wild, a female turtle makes a nest for her eggs then covers them up, why do we not cover them up when we choose to incubate them in vermiculite in a small aquarium?
I also would like to know how quickly a turtle embryo sets up in the egg?
I am asking this question because one of my box turtles laid an egg and then another female rolled it around a little before I pulled it out of their enclosure. I am wondering if the egg is now bad?
Thanks:
